There is panic in the waters for hard core Beatles fans these days. Especially those who have a soft spot for the usually affable now turned hard core curmudgeon Ringo. He announced via video (on his website ) that he will no longer be answering any more emails or fan mail, he goes on to explain that any fan mail post marked after Oct 20, 2008 will be THROWN AWAY.

Well, we, The Locals have decided that instead of standly idly by while this massive travesty happens, we are going to step in. So as of Oc1 21 2008, The Locals WILL be accepting fan mail  for Ringo Starr. Christy nearly has Ringo’s signiture down and and Kirk has almost got the ‘stache rocking. We’ve even been practicing sounding all “englishy an stuff” like  ”thanks for listening mate, ringo starr”.

So Ringo fans, no worries mate, you can always get an “almost real” signed photo, personal email or response to your fan letter! The Locals are here for you.

We just wrapped shooting on a video for “Big Picture”. We’re working with the cool folks over at Metrospace media. This was our first video shoot and it was a ton of fun shooting it. We hit some cool locations around Chicago, including Reggies Rock Club down on the south side. We’ll keep you guys posted on when it’s all done!
