The Locals are totally excited to be playing at Girls Rock Chicago. . It’s a rock camp for girls 9 -16. What’s cooler than that? Um nothing. You can donate to this great program here girlsrockchicago.org.
We’ll be doing a 30 min set for the campers.

The Locals are going to be a part the Chicago bands tribute to KISS. Kirk and our producer, Steve Gillis , are a very very very very excited. LOL! This KISS must be deeply embedded into that “y” chromosome. I mean, Christy and I are happy to be a part of this, but Steve and Kirk are inches away from getting out the face paint.
So what song are we doing? Well, that you’ll have to wait for….check back soon.

Yep, that’s right. We’re back at Transient Sound working the follow up to “Big Picture” (June 08). It will be a 4 song EP. We don’t officially have a title for the EP yet. Check back soon for details. We’re hoping for a winter 09 release.
